Triumph HealthCare’s corporate leadership team consists of individuals with a wide variety of healthcare experience. All of these individuals have proven leadership abilities and have worked together previously to successfully establish Acute Long Term Hospitals. The synergy that this team has achieved is the driving force behind Triumph HealthCare.

Brock Hardaway, Executive President & Chief Operating Officer

Brock Hardaway, Executive President & Chief Operating Officer Brock has over 22 years of experience in the healthcare arena, spending the past 17 plus years in the LTAC sector. He has held positions of increasing leadership responsibility with public and private companies. Brock joined Triumph HealthCare in June 2005 as Chief Operating Officer. In November 2009, Triumph merged with St. Louis based RehabCare and in June 2010 Brock assumed responsibility for RehabCare's Hospital Division as Executive Vice President, which includes the LTAC operations of Triumph HealthCare. Prior to joining Triumph, he was Regional Vice President of Operations for Select Medical Corporation, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of over 30 hospitals across the United States. Brock has worked as a Hospital CEO and Regional Business Development Director for Kindred HealthCare (formerly Vencor, Inc.). At Kindred, he was responsible for hospitals in the Houston and Chicago areas respectively, as well a regional role in the Midwest United States. Early on in his career, Brock worked as a healthcare consultant, working with several consulting firms including, Patrick Philbin & Associates, Campbell Wilson, and Electronic Data Systems in their HealthCare Practice. He holds a B.S. in Hospital Administration from Southwest Texas State University as well as a MBA from St. Edward's University Executive Program.

Tanya G. Snodgrass, Vice President Professional Relations

Tanya G. Snodgrass, Vice President Professional Relations Tanya has over 18 years experience in the healthcare industry. Her experience includes payor contracting and census development in a variety of healthcare services, including neurologic rehabilitation, practice management, and managed care. She began her long-term acute care career in 1993 with Transitional Hospitals Corporation in New Orleans as Director of Referral Development. The following year she began serving in a regional management capacity in Houston, Texas, for Beverly Enterprise’s long-term hospital division, American Transitional Hospitals (ATH), with responsibility for census development, and she also served as national sales trainer for the LTCH division of ATH until 1998. In 1999, Tanya joined Triumph HealthCare as a founding team member. She holds a B.S in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.

James K. Hermes, Vice President - Financial Operations

James K. Hermes, Vice President - Financial Operations Jim served as an Executive Vice President and CFO for SCCI HealthCare prior to the acquisition of SCCI by Triumph in September 2005. Prior to SCCI, Mr. Hermes served as the CFO of Specialty HealthCare Services, a privately owned LTAC company with six facilities, until it was acquired by Kindred HealthCare in April of 2002. Prior to Specialty, Mr. Hermes spent twelve years with Vencor, Inc. as a hospital CFO, a Regional Director of Hospital Finance and the Divisional CFO for Vencor's Ancillary Services Division. While at Vencor, Mr. Hermes was responsible for the financial startup of 11 hospitals and was instrumental in the successful integration of five Transitional Hospitals Corporation (THC) hospitals into Vencor.

Theresa Hunkins, Vice President - Chief Clinical Officer

Theresa Hunkins, Vice President - Chief Clinical OfficerMs. Hunkins has over 25 years of varied clinical and administrative healthcare experience, including over 20 years in the Long Term Acute Care sector. During her LTAC career she has held positions as Director of Quality Management, Corporate Quality Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Regional Director of Clinical Operations with Kindred Healthcare. In February of 2006, she joined Triumph Healthcare as the Vice President-Chief Clinical. Theresa is a registered nurse and a Healthcare Risk Manager. She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Organization of Nurse Executives and serves on the clinical committee of the Acute Long Term Hospital Association (ALTHA). Besides a nursing degree, Theresa holds Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Joseph's College of Maine. 

Ron Cronen - Vice President of Operations Gulf Coast Region

Ron Cronen - Vice President of Operations Gulf Coast Region Ron has over 30 years of healthcare experience in the acute and post acute care industry. Mr. Cronen joined Triumph HealthCare in April 2008. Prior to joining Triumph, he was Executive Director/CEO of the Kentucky District for Kindred HealthCare. During his tenure in healthcare, Mr. Cronen served in a variety of executive leadership positions in governmental, investor owned and not for profit hospitals and corporate entities. Besides hospital Administrator/CEO positions for Sister of Mercy, Daughters of Charity, NME Specialty Hospital Group, he held positions of President/COO Neurobehavioral HealthCare Systems, Chief Operating Officer- ClinicCorp and Osborne and Associates, Regional Senior Vice President with NME Specialty Hospital Group and Regional Vice President positions with Horizon Health and Chartwell HealthCare. He holds a B.A. in International Relations, minors in Mathematics and French from Mankato State University and a MHA from Georgia State University.

Mark Stepanik - Vice President of Operations National Region

Mark Stepanik - Vice President of Operations National Region Mark Stepanik joined Triumph Healthcare in April, 2010 and serves as the Regional Vice President for the National Region. Mark brings 30 years of health care experience to Triumph, particularly in the specialty hospital industry. Mark began his career at the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System's Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD and was instrumental in the development of Montebello Rehabilitation Hospital and a rehabilitation network. With Rehab Hospital Services Corporation of National Medical Enterprises, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Rehab Hospital of York and CEO of the Rehab Hospital of Austin. Subsequent to this, he was appointed as Regional Vice President for Healthsouth Corporation managing inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, gamma knife centers, and outpatient rehabilitation networks in South Carolina, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. He has had executive LTAC responsibilities serving as CEO in Wilmington, DE for Select Medical Corporation and CEO of hospitals in Kansas City, Missouri and Havertown, PA for Kindred Healthcare Corporation. A native of Pennsylvania, Mark holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Formerly a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Mark is currently a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Debby Moore - Vice President of Patient Financial Services

Debby Moore - Vice President of Patient Financial Services Debby has over 20 years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience as well as extensive expertise of third party reimbursement and hospital billing. As VP of Patient Financial Services, Debby is responsible for Triumph’s Central Business Office and overseeing revenue cycle functions of the entire organization including registration, billing and collections. Prior to joining Triumph, she served in various management roles, including hospital Chief Financial Officer and Patient Financial Services Director, in for-profit healthcare systems Kindred and Tenet HealthCare Corporation.
